"Patio Dance Party" with Little Red Rooster
Like a fine wine, The Little Red Rooster Blues Band just seems to get better with age. Founded back in 1988 the band has successfully developed their own sound through interpretations of traditional Chicago Blues and West Coast Jump Blues.

Over the years the band has consistently performed their high energy brand of blues in many renowned clubs and festivals. Their performance mission is simple: To entertain and leave them hungry for more.

Being accompanied by his full band, this show is sure to be a sight to be seen at Puck.

The Once Was
Hailing from Moorestown, New Jersey, The Once Was is an eclectic four-piece indie rock band descending from the creative zealot that is the home recording studio.

Collaborating existential lyrical themes with progressive indie-pop sensibilities and theoretical musical notions, the band brings an energetic and surprising live show to audiences and enthusiasts alike. The Once Was is currently recording their full length, due for release in March (2009).

Sweet Alkaline plays straight-up, song-driven” tune rock” with no gimmicks, no phony image and no apologies for the occasional ballad. Chocked full of big hooks, tight harmonies and undeniable musicianship, Sweet Alkaline simply delivers good playin’ and good singin’!

When was the last time you heard one woman play wicked harp in a unique style with unnaturally Long notes, sing emotionally charged sultry powerful vocals, and play finger style guitar? Perhaps when they headlined at the Lehigh River Blues Jam Festival 2008.

"Octavia and the Earthblood Blues Band" perform original and rare traditional blues. Electric and slide guitarist TurboKing Bill Wasch's blistering solos stand toe-to-toe with Octavia's harmonica pyrotechnics. Receiving consistent positive audience feedback, the quality of Octavia and Earthblood's seasoned musicians and original material is both engaging and unforgettable.

BOX FIVE
BOX  FIVE is the brainchild of Mary Bichner, a 26-year-old  composer and performer hailing from Philadelphia, PA. Combining Mozart-inspired chord progressions  and bratty Brit-rock hooks into a musical succotash she likes  to call classipop, Mary  hopes to breathe new life into the calcified world of 'radio-friendly' contemporary music through her memorable melodies and solid  songwriting.

Jon Delise
Jon has extensive experience in songwriting and performing. Jon has written songs for the indie band Starting Line to Patti Labelle and has papered on Good Morning America and The Tony Danz show. A great performer and singer Jon wraps his songs around stories of personal life and topics that matter to everyone.

SPiN
Already one of the hardest working indie rock bands on the East Coast, the Philadelphia based SPiN is quickly expanding beyond its regional home base of Philly, Jersey, New York and Delaware and taking its edgy, high energy modern pop/rock to the next level.

Do you remember waiting for the release of that awesome new album by your favorite rock band?  Way back before "iTUNES,"  "iPODS," and "iHAVE NO IDEA WHY I'M LISTENING TO THE JONAS BROTHERS," you trekked to the record store every day (uphill both ways) to ask the kid with bad acne behind the counter if "it" came in yet? Remember when your biggest concerns were your music, your hair, and whether or not your car would start?

Well, Big Chill takes you back to those times. From the soaring harmonies of Left Banke's "Walk Away Renee," to the driving rock of the Pretenders "Middle of the Road," to the cool groove of Santana's "Smooth," the vocals, thumping bass and drums, flashy lead guitar, Hammond organ and raunchy saxophone of Big Chill help you remember more than good music, they help you remember a cooler time. A time when your hair was longer, life was simpler, and rock and roll mattered just a little bit more.

Derek Chafin
Singer, songwriter, multi instrumentalist, band leader, producer, record company founder - all of the above. Derek’s music is about what a song can be and where the medium is going. Challenging, artful, soulful, brutal and uplifting, but always at its core - tuneful.

Whether it was fronting the visceral beauty of the critically acclaimed bands The Darrows, X’s+O’s, Head, and Superstatic or on his first solo record - acoustic with chamber orchestra accompaniment, or on his second which blurs the lines between acoustic and electronic, all contain the elements that have become emblematic of his sound: dynamic songwriting, beautiful melodies and up lifting, hypnotic vocals. Slo-Mo combines the steel guitar of Mike ‘Slo-Mo’ Brenner with the hip hop poetry of rapper Mic Wrecka. Backed by a tight, funky band which includes vocalists Sue Rosetti, Steph Hayes and Lauren Hart, Slo-Mo creates a totally original hip-hop/steel guitar hybrid that has become an XPN and fan favorite.

Naturally, since he does things his own way, Plumeri's guitar playing and singing style are distinctive.
